John Pickin
John Pickin has a background in archaeology and museums and was for many years the museum curator at Stranraer. Now retired and living near Carlisle, John is currently involved in a number of landscape archeology projects in the North Pennines. He is also an active member of the Lake District National Park Archaeology Volunteers Network.
